What is Silent Hill?
Silent Hill is a survivial horror game series developed by Konami Studios. My shrine focuses on the second game, Silent Hill 2.
The town of Silent Hill is a calling you to face your judgement day and guilt.
You play as James Sunderland, and you are looking for your wife, Mary, in Silent Hill after you recieved a letter from her stating that she's waiting for you.

<James Sunderland is called to Silent Hill by a letter from his wife, Mary. He hopes to find her now in Silent Hill, even though he mentions that she died 3 years ago.
As you progress throughout the game, you encounter other characters who also had a strange calling to go to Silent Hill. You meet Angela at a cemetery, Eddie and Laura in the apartments, and Maria in the park.
Silent Hill is one of my favorite game series of all time, if not my most favorite. Every little detail is perfect to me. The soundtrack, characters, locations, story, endings, monsters... It's all so beautiful and it really makes for a terrifying first run, depressing second run.
