Album reviews

Angel Dust // Faith No More
10/10
I am absolutely in love with this album. While I'm not a huge Faith No More fan, this album just held me by the THROAT. Every song is unique and the album has so much emotion. Some feelings I had for each song include fear (Malpractice), hopelessness (Everything's Ruined), and really just overall depression if I'm being honest. Their most popular song from this album is Easy. I liked RV the least, but I totally understood the concept.

BIRTH OF VENUS // Banshee
4/10
I really didn't enjoy most of the album, mostly because it did not meet the expectations set forth. The artist had promised a metal song, specifically the title track, and that many have been the only song I really enjoy, even if it barely qualifies as metal. the rest of the songs are very different, and even without my expectations I still didn't like it. Her whole ideology is to hate men and it's very suspicious. I'd be more forgiving of her beliefs if the music didn't fall so flat. Even while this isn't related to the music anymore, I feel like the artist is egositic... Best song here is BIRTH OF VENUS, the title track.

Infestissumam // Ghost (B.C.)
10/10
My favorite Ghost album ever. The idea of this album is the anti-christ walking on the earth. Understandable that satanic music is not everyone's thing, but lyrics aside, the instrumentals are beautiful on their own. Also features one of my favorite Ghost songs, Zombie Queen.

Pighammer // Wayne Static
9.5/10
Wayne Static's only and final solo project. Has to be one of my favorite albums of all time. The introduction (self titled track) is horrifying, but every song on the album is so catchy and heavy. I think it really showcases just how much Static contributed to the creative efforts of Static-X, with his original music being so amazing.
